Description:
A key member of the For Soccer team, the Senior Director of Account Management is responsible for overseeing client relationships including all day-to-day partnerships, client projects, and Account Management team members. The Senior Director is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners, and working closely with teams to oversee the development and execution of partnership and client strategies that drive For Soccer’s success.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the account management team responsible for 3rd party client relationships.

Work closely with our client services and emerging business teams to develop renewal contracts that are inclusive of deliverables that are important to our sponsors/partners, taking into consideration available assets in our inventory.

Manage a team of 4+ Account Directors, Managers and Coordinators providing insights, guidance and expertise in helping manage the team in developing and executing the company's partnership strategy.

Mentor and support direct report(s) by providing clear, actionable feedback on performance in both real time and as part of annual performance review, as well as provide coaching and development as necessary.

Build and maintain relationships and gain trust with key partners across varying levels of the client’s organization.

Understand the client’s business and their business objectives to contribute to the ideation, strategic development, and knowledge sharing to assist the team in overseeing the execution of custom campaigns that meet said objectives.

Leads regular internal weekly/biweekly meetings with project teams to understand client objectives, KPIs, and determine long-term and short-term strategies, programs, budgets, timelines, and staff necessary to meet the goals of both the client and FS.

Collaborate with internal teams (data & insights, marketing & PR, events, creative studio) to meet and exceed client expectations.

Manages the company's internal resources as Senior Director to ensure they’re executing against the terms agreed both before and after client programs (e.g., PR, social media, activation, recaps) to ensure they’re completed on schedule and within budget.

Oversees the development of Scopes of Work, project budgets (including COGS), internal client briefs, roles & responsibilities documents to ensure projects are being kicked off properly across all verticals. Participates in internal project kickoff meetings to oversee the Account Management process along with team ideation.

Regularly reviewing project workbacks to ensure they’re up-to-date and team members are contributing on a consistent basis to ensure the Account Management Team is following the process.

Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure clear communication of client deliverables and expectations once an agreement has been signed.

Source and share client feedback with the sales team to support renewal and additional upsell opportunities.

Work with the Account Management Team to ensure they are following the process in the execution of contracts, submission of invoices, tracking of project related expenses, and managing overall engagement financials.

Provide consultation and insightful knowledge sharing to impact new business pitches and ideation when necessary.

Act as key contributor on Directors meetings to provide project updates, discuss bandwidth issues, team collaboration, and navigate vertical channels in hopes to solve broader challenges.

Continuously evaluate and improve Account Management processes to enhance external partner experience and retention and internal ways of working and team efficiencies.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences as needed.

Remain current with industry trends and technologies and communicate relevant information to account teams.

This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week. For Soccer is a remote workforce and schedules will be determined in collaboration with the employee and their manager.
